There were a few contestants on the regular Amazing Race who were younger than 21, though, like Zac on Season 19, that I can think of.
Oh, I see... do you think that's the same with the Canadian version, too?
I don’t know the source of this (other than Finnish wikipedia), but the prizes goes like this: 1st grand prize, 2nd 25 000, 3rd 10 000, 4th 7 000, 5th 6 000, 6th 5 000, 7th 4 000, 8th 3 500, 9th 2 500 and first to go out 1 500 dollars.
I think the international versions may have a slightly lower age restriction.
Canada season 3 had a team that were both 19, and Israel once had an 18-year-old

Are people under the age of 18 allowed on the Race? Or can they have a special with parents and kids?Is there a Maximum age limit (i.e. so old the production crew might be concerned for their health if they were let on)
I don't believe so. All contestants are likely screened medically prior to the Race anyway. For example Jody, who was 71 when racing, had to have been medically okayed before racing, otherwise she wouldn't have been able to run the Race.
