The order of departure from Dolphin Bay Beach are as follows:

  1. Meghan & Cheyne (1:13 pm)
  2. Maria & Tiffany (3:09 pm)

  4. Brian & Ericka (3:25 pm)
  5. Gary & Matt (3:34 pm)
  6. Flight Time & Big Easy (4:40 pm)

Teams must fly to Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Upon arrival, teams must choose a marked car and drive themselves to the Cornelis Lely Monument, where they will find their next clue.

Teams must drive themselves to Martinitoren in the city of Groningen to find their next clue.

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock would have to climb to the top of the Martinitoren and count all of the bells in the carillon. When they give the right number, 62, to the carillonneur, they would receive their next clue. If they provide the wrong number, they would have to climb back up to the carillon to count again.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must drive themselves to De Marne and find the Windmill De Onderneming, to search for their next clue.

Choice A: Farmer's Game
Teams would have to dress in traditional Dutch costumes and rode bicycles to a nearby creek. Teams then have to strip down to their Dutch underwear and swim across. On the other side, they had to retrieve a special set of golf clubs and play 3 holes of Farmersgolf. Team members must take turns with each stroke and have to finish within par of 8 strokes on each hole to receive their next clue.

Gary & Matt, Meghan & Cheyne, and Sam & Dan chose this task.

Choice B: Farmer's Dance
Teams would have to dress in traditional Dutch costumes and rode bicycles to a nearby country festival where one team member has to hit the bell on a high striker (if a team member fails, they would take turns until they've hit the bell). They then have to enter a dance hall to learn a traditional Dutch folk dance and perform it in front of a crowd. If the dance is to the instructor's satisfaction, the instructor would give each team member a serving of soused herring which they have to eat in order to receive their next clue.

Brian & Ericka and Flight Time & Big Easy chose this task.

Maria & Tiffany were physically unable to do either side of the Detour, and ultimately decided to quit the Race entirely, knowing they were in last place.

Teams must travel by bicycle to Zoutkamp Harbor to check in.

For coming in first place, Sam & Dan each won a dune buggy.
