Think Like An Office Chair is the fourth episode of The Amazing Race Family Edition.

A close race to the Pit Stop fuels an intense rivalry between two families.

The families depart from the Space Shuttle in Huntsville, Ala. in search of the World's Largest Office Chair located in Anniston, Ala. Teams will pass through the International Motorsports Hall of Fame and the Talladega Motor Speedway, as well as Fairview Riverside State Park in Madisonville, La., in search of clues that will lead them to their next destination. The intensity of the Race takes its toll on one family member who has a breakdown on the way to the Pit Stop. Another team is paralyzed by fear and panics about whether or not to complete a task.[2]

Route Markers

The order of departure from the Space Shuttle Pathfinder are as follows:

  1. Bransen Family (1:15 pm)
  2. Linz Family (1:18 pm)
  3. Schroeder Family (1:33 pm)
  4. Godlewski Family (1:44 pm)
  5. Weaver Family (3:34 pm)
  6. Paolo Family (3:50 pm)
  7. Gaghan Family (3:53 pm)

Teams must drive themselves to Anniston and find the World's Largest Office Chair.

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock would have to climb the World's Largest Office Chair to receive their next clue.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must drive themselves to Talladega and find their next clue at the International Motorsports Hall of Fame.

Teams must choose a party bike then complete one lap around the Superspeedway. Once they completed a 2.6 miles ride, a race official would give them their next clue.

Teams must drive themselves to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to find the Southern Colonel Mobile Homes to search for their next clue.

Teams must look around the mobile homes to find one of three departure times for the next morning: 7:20am, 7:40am, and 8:00am. Once a team has chosen a mobile home and time, they cannot switch for a different one.

Teams must drive themselves to Richland and find the BP gas station. At the gas station, they must find the clerk named Les, who will hand them their next clue.

Teams must drive themselves to Madisonville, Louisiana and find their next clue on the fishing docks of Fairview-Riverside State Park

Choice A: Work
Teams must use a two-person handsaw to cut slices off a log 12 inches in diameter. Once they cut four slices of it, a log sawyer would give them their clue.

The Gaghan, Godlewski, Linz, and Paolo Families chose this task.

Choice B: Play
Teams must make their way by canoe to a riverboat where they will play a game of blackjack against a professional dealer. To win a round, the hand of each team member needs to total more than the dealer's hand, or the dealer must bust (the dealer's hand must go over 21). When the team wins three rounds, the dealer would give them their clue.

The Bransen, Schroeder, and Weaver Families chose this task.

Teams must drive themselves to New Orleans and find Preservation Hall in the French Quarter to check in.

For coming in first place, the Bransen Family won a Universal Orlando Resort package at Orlando, Florida provided by Travelocity.
