Route Markers

The order of departure from the Laxmi Niwas Palace are as follows:

From Bikaner, teams must go back to the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and book a flight to Bangkok, Thailand. Teams may opt to ride a train or a bus. The train is quicker speed-wise, but it it takes longer because it travels an indirect route, while the bus is relatively slower, but it directly goes to Delhi. Once in Thailand, teams must find the Temple of Dawn where their next clue waits.

Teams will have to go to the Temple of the Reclining Buddha and play a traditional Buddhist game that employs the 108 urns beside giant reclining Buddha which is believed to bring good luck. They must pick a bowl of coins and place one coin inside each urn. To win the Fast Forward pass, teams must pick the urn with exactly 108 coins. If the urn they picked contains more or less than 108 coins, they will have to start over. Joe & Bill won the Fast Forward.

Both tasks would require teams to proceed to the Tiger Temple Buddhist monastery in Kanchanaburi. The teams' dilemma is picking the better means of transportation:

Choice A: Public
Teams have to go to a local bus station and board a bus that leaves every 25 minutes. Teams must be quick enough to secure an early bus ride and they must pay the fare using their own money. The bus station is easy to find, but the bus is slow going.

Kevin & Drew and Rob & Brennan chose this task.

Choice B: Private
Teams must locate a marked neighborhood and find a privately owned car with the matching licensed plate number written in their clue. Searching for the car is tedious work, but once found, they can ride it for free and it is relatively faster.

Only Frank & Margarita chose this task.

After giving up on attempting the "Public" Detour option, Nancy & Emily deliberately skip the Detour, incurring them a 24-hour penalty.

One team member must retrieve their next clue in a clay jar. The catch is, the jar is propped in the middle of a pit of tigers. The team member that performs this task must keep calm and collected once a tiger approaches him.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must head to to their next Pit Stop, Tiger Cave Temple in Krabi.
