The Amazing Race Philippines 1 is the first installment of the reality television show, The Amazing Race Philippines. Filipino-British actor and model Derek Ramsay hosted this season. It premiered on October 29, 2012 on TV5.
Note 1:Crystel & Mykey and Pamela & Vanessa were unable to complete either Detour choices at Star City due to rain and instead had their next clues given to them.
Note 2:Marc & Kat used their Salvage Pass to enter the Bantay Bell Tower in Bantay 30-minutes before the "Hours of Operation."
Note 3:Anton & Armand initially arrived 4th but received a 24-hour penalty for breaking the rules when Anton contacted a relative on his cellphone. After all teams have checked in, Anton & Armand were eliminated from the race.
Note 4:Fausto & Dayal initially arrived 6th but did not perform the additional task at the Maligcong Rice Terraces before heading to the pit stop. They were instructed to perform the additional task before they could be checked in. During this time, Dani & Mish and Ed & Angel checked in at the the pit stop dropping them to 8th.
Note 5:Pamela & Vanessa incorrectly answered the number of steps on their first try before heading to the Baguio pit stop. Since they were last, they were allowed to check-in and were eliminated from the race.
Note 6:Marc & Kat used the Express Pass to bypass the Roadblock in Leg 5.
Note 7:Dani & Mish received a 20-minute penalty for Dani asking Dayal the answers for the Roadblock.
Note 8: Dani & Mish received a 4-hour penalty for failing to complete the Roadblock after three allowable attempts.
Note 9:Boom & Cheng and Marc & Kat received a 1-hour penalty for not taking a jeepney from Holiday Inn Clark to the Mabalacat Bus Terminal.
Note 10:Ed & Angel received a 2-hour penalty for not finishing the task at Red Labuyo Restaurant.
Note 11: Since Ed & Angel arrived last, they were eliminated without assessing the 30-minute penalty.
Note 12: Boom & Cheng and Fausto & Dayal received a 40-minute penalty upon arrival in Cebu for booking business class tickets.
Note 13: The Yield was an Anonymous Yield. Therefore, LJ & CJ did not have to reveal themselves when using it.
Note 14:Sheena & Gee initially arrived 5th but was not allowed to check-in immediately because they did not come into agreement with their taxi driver in their fare. The driver was then asked but then accepted the terms and Derek checked them in. This did not affect their placement.
Note 15:Marc & Kat initially arrived 2nd but received a 40-minute penalty for untying the rope path in the Detour. During their penalty, LJ & CJ checked-in dropping them to 3rd.
Note 16: Sheena & Gee initially arrived 3rd but received a 30-minute penalty for being "marked for elimination" and not arriving first. During their time, LJ & CJ checked-in dropping them to 4th and were eliminated.
Note 17: Fausto & Dayal received a 15-minute penalty for using one of the illegal words in the description at the Smart Puerto Princesa task.

Coral = leg number had no mandatory rest period at the Pit Stop and ordered to continue racing.
Purple = team used the Express Pass. Blue = team who came in last on an elimination leg was saved by the team with the Salvage Pass.

Teams must change into formal attire and play a special game of Baccarat in order to receive their next clue. The chips they will earn will also lead them to their next destination (Astrodome).

One team member must shoot in five basketballs from the 15-foot free throw line in order to receive their next clue.

Teams must convince twelve people to perform the nursery rhyme "Bingo" with the satisfaction of the judge in order to receive their next clue.

Pindot (Press): Teams need to find and then take a picture of a flag around the park in order to receive their next clue. The flag is located in the Wild River ride.
Ikot (Spin): Teams need to solve three mathematical problems while riding the Spring Ride, a pendulum ride, in order to receive their next clue.

Nguya (Chew): Teams must eat a plate of Longanizas in order to receive their next clue.

The Intersected teams must transport 50 burnay jars to Calle Crisologo using a horse driven cart called a "kariton" in order to receive their next clue. However, if teams break more than five jars, they will receive a time penalty per broken jar. After this task, the teams were no longer Intersected.
Quirino Bridge, Bantay
One team member must ride a kayak and paddle to reunite with their partner who must rappel down the Quirino Bridge. Once both team members have reunited, they must now paddle themselves to the shore in order to receive their next clue.
Plaza Burgos, Vigan
Teams must participate in a traditional game called "Pukpok Palayok," where one team member would be blindfolded and must hit the clay pot with a bat where their next clue was contained. The other member must use a tambourine to help guide their blindfolded partner to hit the pot.

The team member who performed the Roadblock must answer questions in an electronic tablet involving the Philippine presidents while their partner will be hanging on a harness 100 feet above. If all questions are answered correctly within 15 seconds, the one hanging will slowly be dropped to the ground and will receive their next clue but if they failed to answer a question, the one hanging will be dropped fast and will have to repeat the task.
