The Amazing Race Philippines is an upcoming reality competition show based on the American version of The Amazing Race. It will be produced by ActiveTV, who also produced The Amazing Race Asia and The Amazing Race Australia, for TV5. On April 10, 2012, TV5 confirmed that Filipino-British actor and model Derek Ramsay will host the show.

On March 26, 2011, it was revealed that TV5 had required the rights to produce a Philippine version of the race. In December 2011, it was confirmed in The Philippine Star that the show will air in 2012.

AuditionsEdit

Auditions are from March 5, 2012 - April 27, 2012 (which was extended from April 2, 2012) and filming is expected to occur between April and June.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and are citizens or permanent residents of the Philippines for at least two years. Applicants are also required to understand and speak both Filipino and English. Applicants must also possess passports and both local and international driver's licenses.
