The Amazing Race Canada 1 is the first installment of the reality television show, The Amazing Race Canada. It premiered on Monday, July 15, 2013 on CTV in Canada. The show is available on CTV's digital platforms, such as CTV.ca, the CTV mobile app, VOD, TSN, TSN2 and RDS.

The first season has top-tier sponsors, which includes Air Canada, BlackBerry, Interac, and Chevrolet Canada.

In conjunction with the sponsors, the winners received C$500,000 worth of cash and prizes: the opportunity to fly free for a year for two on Air Canada in Executive First Class, two pairs of 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingrays, 250,000 Canadian dollars, and The Amazing Race Canada 1.

On June 5, 2013, CTV announced Jon Montgomery as the host for the first season.

Notes: 1: Legs 1 and 10 featured two Roadblocks and no Detour. The team member who sat out the first Roadblock was required to perform the second one. 2: Tim & Tim and Treena & Tennille each received a 30-minute penalty for only taking 1 of 2 clues from the terrariums at the Butterfly Conservatory, when the clue instructed them to take both. Tim & Tim dropped from 5th to 6th place, while Treena & Tennille dropped from 8th to last place and were eliminated. 3: Vanessa & Celina used their Express Pass to bypass the Detour 4: Vanessa & Celina arrived at the Pit Stop in 4th place, but could not be checked in as their backpacks were not dropped within sight. Their placement remained unchanged after going to back to correct this. 5: Holly & Brett and Hal & Joanne each received a 2-hour penalty for failing to complete the Route Marker task. Holly & Brett dropped from 3rd to 5th place, while Hal & Joanne were already in last place and were eliminated. 6: Holly & Brett and Jody & Cory arrived on the Mat at exactly the same time. As it was too close to call, Jon checked them both in at a tie for 2nd place.

• First time teams were allowed to use the U-Turn multiple times.

• First time that the Fast Forward was not used in the inaugural season of a new version.
• Second time that a team did not use their Express Pass before being eliminated.
