Sticky & Sam were awarded with the Express Pass for finishing 1st in this leg, however this was unaired from the show.
Sticky & Sam, Michelle & Jo, Kym & Donna, Paul & Steve, Shane & Andrew, Lucy & Emilia and Sue & Teresa broke more than 15 pots during the Route Info task and received a 15 minute penalty at the pot drop off.
Teams on the fourth leg voted for who should receive the U-Turn. The team who has the most votes must complete the other option of the Detour they did not select. Paul & Steve received the most votes in a 6-1-1-1 vote and would be U-Turned.
Kym & Donna failed to complete the leg after being unable to locate the Meydan Racecourse. Hours after all the teams had checked into the Pit Stop, Kym & Donna still had not completed the final challenge. Grant came over to the area where they had spent the night and eliminated them.
James & Sarah and Ross & Tarryn both received 4-hour penalties for quitting the Roadblock. James & Sarah initially arrived in 6th place, but dropped to 7th place when Lucy & Emilia checked in during the former's penalty time. Ross & Tarryn was already in last place. As this leg was a Non-Elimination Leg, The penalties would be applied at the beginning of the next leg.
Ross & Tarryn had been "marked for elimination," however, since they checked in last, they were eliminated without the 30-minute penalty.
Joseph & Grace arrived in 6th place, however, they were issued a two-hour penalty for pulling another teams belongings out of the taxi, which is a clear violation of a race rule. During that time Sticky & Sam checked in, dropping Joseph & Grace to last place, however it was a No-Rest Leg.
Teams also voted on the 8th leg for who should receive the U-Turn. Sticky and Sam received the most votes in a 4-2-1 vote. This Must-Vote U-Turn was left unaired from the show.
Joseph & Grace failed to make it to the required area of the Great Wall of China for the Roadblock, instead traveling to the Inner Mongolia section of the Great Wall. After all teams had checked in, Grant came out to their location and eliminated them.
