The order of departure from Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa in Tevairoa are as follows:

Teams must fly to Christchurch, New Zealand. Upon arrival, teams must drive themselves to the Rakaia River Gorge and pull a number for departure in the morning and set up camp for the night. The next day, teams would take a boat in the order they arrived the previous night and navigate themselves up the river to find their next clue.
Choice A: Rev It Up
Teams must take turns driving a modified vintage car through a set of cones in under a combined time of 83 seconds or less in the same run. Once they have recorded a combined time under the time limit, they would receive their next clue.
Bates & Anthony, Caroline & Jennifer, Jessica & John, Joey & Meghan, Max & Katie, Mona & Beth, and Pam & Winnie chose this task.
Choice B: Reel It In
Teams must use a rod and reel to each catch one fish that was at least 12 inches long. Once they have both caught a fish of the appropriate size, they would receive their next clue.
Chuck & Wynona and Dave & Connor chose this task.
Dave & Connor used their Express Pass to bypass the Reel It In Detour.Teams must drive themselves to Mount Hutt Station, where they would find their next clue.
"Who wants to keep their Race from going to the dogs?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must run a muddy obstacle course known as a "Shemozzle". They must dress in gum boots, stubbies shorts, and a burlap sack, then pick a shepherd and farm dog to run the course with. On the course, they would be covered in molasses and feathers, climb over hay bales, then ride an inner tube down a slide into a manure pond, all while collecting chicken eggs along the way. Then must then deposit the eggs in a basket at the end of the course. Once they have 12 unbroken eggs in their basket, a shepherd would give them their next clue.

Teams must drive themselves to Terrace Downs to check in.
For coming in first place, Dave & Connor won a trip for two to Bangkok, provided by Travelocity.

- During on the flight to New Zealand connecting to Papeete, Tahiti, Dave & Connor went to a local hospital shortly after arrived in Tahiti, where Dave discovered that he had torn both his Achilles tendon and the connecting muscle. Dave & Connor purchased a boot for Dave's leg and they had to continue the race.
