Teams must travel by bullet train to Nagano. Once there, teams must make their way by taxi to Matsushiro Castle to find their next clue.

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock would have to solve an intricate method to opening a Japanese puzzle box, known as a yosegi. Once they have figured the box, they would find a password written on a small piece of paper, which reads Nakani irete kudasai ("Please let me in"). They must then recite the password to the castle guards in order to get their next clue, one of which conceals a "Date Night" ticket.

Teams would have to made their way to the Takesan Donabe restaurant and feed each other a bowl of noodles, using only a pair of chopsticks sitting in front of a large fan. Once all the noodles are eaten, they will receive their next clue.

Bergen & Kurt, Harley & Jonathan, Jelani & Jenny, Laura & Tyler, Libby & CJ, and Mike & Rochelle chose this task.

Choice B: Chair
Teams would have to travel to the M-Wave Olympic Arena. One team member sits on a chair mounted on a sled, while the other team member pushes the chair around a speed skating track. After one lap, they'll switch places. Teams have to finish both laps in a combined time of no more than three minutes and fifty-five seconds to receive their next clue from the the coach.

Aly & Steve, Jeff & Jackie, Hayley & Blair, and Matt & Ashley chose this task.

Teams must travel by taxi to Patio Daimon to check in.

For coming in first place, Jelani & Jenny each won Fitbit watches and a fitness package, plus a personal chef, cooking lessons and a one-year gym membership or a year of fresh grocery delivery.

For winning the Date Night ticket, Harley & Jonathan won a trip to a Japanese hot spring during the Pit Stop.
