The order of departure from the Warbirds Hangar are as follows:

  1. Tara & Wil (1:03 am)
  2. Blake & Paige (3:30 am)
  3. Chris & Alex (3:58 am)

Teams must find the "Father of Auckland". They had to figure out that their next destination was the monument of Sir John Logan Campbell at One Tree Hill, who earned the name "the Father of Auckland".

Teams must fly to Maui, Hawaii, United States. Once they arrive teams must choose a marked vehicle and a provided map to find the ruins of an abandoned Sugar Mill, located near the Old Campus of Maui High School in Paia.

Teams must drive themselves to Haiku-Pauwela and find Pauwela Pineapple Field. Teams must then search for a water tower in a nearby pineapple field to find their next clue.

Choice A: Bike
Teams had to search the large pineapple field on a pair of bikes to find the only red plastic pineapple for the clue inside.

None of the teams chose this task.

Choice B: Walk
Teams searched the same field on foot to find one of four yellow plastic pineapples with the clue inside.

All of the teams chose this task.

Teams must go to McGregor Point in Maalaea where they must navigate the arrows to the water's edge, and chose a motorboat to take them to Molokini island along a course of red and yellow buoys in the middle of an extinct volcano for their next clue.

One team member had to snorkel near the sunken island and find and open one of three yellow cases chained underwater to retrieve the clue sealed inside.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must make their way to Mokulau and find Huialoha Church to check in.

For coming in first place, Blake & Paige and Tara & Wil each won a vacation to London and Paris, provided by American Airlines Vacations.

Leg 13

The order of departure from Huialoha Church are as follows:

  1. Blake & Paige (11:13 pm)
  2. Tara & Wil (11:13 pm)
  3. Chris & Alex (12:39 am)

Teams must drive to a pier in Hana Bay, and find Queen Kaʻahumanu's birthplace to receive their next clue.

Teams must fly to Anchorage, Alaska and find Rust's Flying Service, where they must instruct their pilots to fly them to Trapper Creek.

Teams will have to stay overnight in an igloo and in the morning, teams must put on snowshoes and hike through the woods to get the next clue.

This race's final detour was aired as a miscellaneous task, as all teams chose the same side of the Detour. The second half of the Detour is unknown.

Choice A: Unknown
Teams must drive a snowcat across a frozen lake to receive their next clue.

All of the teams chose this task.

Teams must drive to Homesteader's Hardware Store in Big Lake to get their next clue.

Teams must pick up some tools and propane at Homesteader's Hardware Store and cross Hurricane Gulch to find their next clue.

For the final Roadblock of the race, one team member used the tools picked up from the hardware store - a hammer, chisel, drill, and/or flamethrower - to retrieve the clue frozen inside a large globe of ice.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must fly to Oakland, California and make their way to their final destination city, San Francisco to find the Atkinson-Esher House.

Teams must travel on foot to Municipal Pier, where they will get their final clue.

  • This episode's title was stated by Wil, instructing the pilot to follow the other planes, as he and Tara lost the clue directing the pilot where to fly to.
  • The closest footrace to the Finish Line in the entire franchise of The Amazing Race.
