7. Nick & Vicki

Only Jill & Thomas, Brook & Claire, and Michael & Kevin's departure times were shown. The other four teams' departure times are unknown.

Teams must take a taxi to Avtovo Circus, where they would find their next clue.

Choice A: Circus Band
Teams must learn how to play a Russian folk song, Ivan Larionov's Kalinka, on the accordion. Once they have played the song correctly, the band leader would give teams their next clue.

Chad & Stephanie, Gary & Mallory, and Nat & Kat chose this task.

Choice B: Circus Clown
Teams must learn how to spin plates. Once 10 plates have spun simultaneously for 10 seconds without falling, a clown would give teams their next clue.

Brook & Claire, Jill & Thomas, Michael & Kevin, and Nick & Vicki chose this task.

Teams must solve a "Russian Mystery" by making their way to "the canal bridge guarded by four creatures with golden wings", which teams must figure out referred to Bank Bridge, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must make their way on foot to 1 Vladimirsky Prospekt Tower. At the top of the tower, only one team member from two teams at most may look around for a clue to their next destination: a figurine leading them to the Church of the Savior on Blood, where they must also make their way on foot to. At the church, teams would find their next clue. Teams are not allowed to have a taxi lead them to these locations.

Teams must solve a riddle directing them to the Peter and Paul Fortress, where they would find their next clue at the gorodki courts.

"Between the two of you, who's the real player?"

The team member assigned to this Roadblock must clear three gorodki pin formations to receive their next clue. After two attempts at a formation, the pins would be reset.

Trivia

• The episode title is said by Brook Roberts.
• While Nick & Vicki came last in the previous leg, they did not face a Speed Bump in this leg. Post-race interviews revealed that the penalty was waived, and that everyone's placement in that leg was equalized at this leg's Detour, in compensation for various production difficulties in the previous leg's Classical Music Detour affecting all of the teams.
