There's No Crying in Baseball is the third episode of The Amazing Race 21.

Teams must make their way to Antika Jaya Padang Restaurant, where they would find their next clue.

"Who wants to server a balanced meal?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must serve a hidang style meal by carrying 20 dishes of food in their hands, all at once, and serve them to waiting diners. If they drop any of the dishes, they would have to start over. Once successful, they would receive their next clue.

Teams must make their way to Surabaya Gubeng Train Station, where they must take a train to Bangil. During their train ride, teams must keep their eyes open for their next clue, which would be given by a food vendor.

Choice A: Lion's Head
Teams must take a becak to Alun-Alun Kota Bangil, where they must participate in a reog dance by following dance instructions along a procession route while wearing a 40-pound lion's head mask over their heads and shoulders. Teams would receive their next clue after successfully completing the procession.

Abbie & Ryan, Caitlin & Brittany, Gary & Will, James & Abba, Jaymes & James, Natalie & Nadiya, Rob & Kelley, and Trey & Lexi chose this task.

Choice B: Egg Head
Teams must take a becak to a local market, where they must purchase four eggs. They must then take their becak to Alun-Alun Kota Bangil, where they must participate in a custom called debus, a show of strength where local magicians would light a coconut half atop each team member's head and use the fire to fry up the eggs the teams had bought. They must then eat the cooked eggs with a serving of hot sauce to receive their next clue.

Only Josh & Brent chose this task.

Teams must make their way to Perliman POS I, where they would find their next clue.

At Perliman POS I, teams would have the option to U-Turn a team, with two slots available and without revealing their identity. Rob & Kelley used the first slot of the U-Turn on Gary & Will. Gary & Will attempted to use the second slot of the U-Turn on Rob & Kelley, however Rob & Kelley already passed the U-Turn before Gary & Will, thus having no effect on them. Since Gary & Will completed the Lion's Head Detour, they would be forced to backtrack and complete the Egg Head Detour before continuing.

Teams must make their way to SMA Negeri 1 Bangil High School to check in.
For coming in first place, Abbie & Ryan won a trip for two to Fiji, provided by Travelocity.
