Double Your Money is the season premiere of The Amazing Race 21.
Story
Route Markers
The race begins at Colorado Street Bridge in Pasadena, California, United States of America.
Teams must don safety gear and then rappel together off of the side of the bridge. Once at the bottom teams will find bags and their first clue directing them to their first destination: Shanghai, China. Upon arrival at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, teams must travel by taxi to the Yuanshen Sports Centre Stadium where they will search the area for a clue box containing their next clue.
The team member assigned to perform the Roadblock would have to score one point in a game of table tennis against a 10-year-old Chinese national junior table tennis champion. Once they do, teams will receive their next clue.

Teams must travel by taxi to Cui Ping Jiu Jia Restaurant, where they will search the entrance for a clue box containing their next clue.
The team member who sat out of the previous Roadblock would have to perform this one. The team member would have to eat a Chinese delicacy desert known as hasama, which consists of the fatty connective tissue found near the fallopian tubes of a frog, using only a provided pair of chopsticks and without lifting the papaya off of the table. Once they completely finish the dish, teams will receive their next clue.

Teams must travel by taxi to The Bund where they will search the promenade for a woman and young boy with traditional Suanpan abacuses who will give them their next clue.
Teams must walk on foot to The Bund Signal Tower to check in. For coming in first place, Abbie & Ryan won the Double Your Money prize, allowing them to double their prize money if they come in first on the final leg.
