The race begins at Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos, California, United States of America.

Teams must fly to Lucarno, Switzerland. There are two flights to Europe, one on Lufthansa departing at 3:35 pm to Zürich or Air France departing at 4:00 pm to Milan, Italy. Upon arrival, teams must travel by train to Lucarno from the airport and then find the Church of Sant'Antonio to sign a register fora depature time in the morning and a message from the priest. Four teams will depart at 7:15 am, three teams will depart at 7:30 am, and four teams will depart at 7:45 am.

Using the provided picture teams must travel by taxi to Verzasca Dam and search the grounds for their next clue.

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock would have to bungee jump off the Verzasca Dam, the second highest commercial bungee in the world, at a height of 70 stories in order to receive their next clue.

Teams must travel by train to Interlaken and find Kleine Rugen Wiese to search for their next clue.

Teams must transport four 50-pound wheels of cheese from a shed to the bottom of the hill using traditional Swiss cheese carriers. Once the cheese is stacked, they would receive their next clue.

Teams must travel by taxi to Stechelberg and find the yodelers at the Hotel Stechelberg to check in. For coming in first place, Margie & Luke won a trip for two to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico provided by Travelocity.
