Do You Know How Much Running I Did Today, Phil? is the ninth episode of The Amazing Race 9.

A fierce rivalry between two teams starts to heat up when one duo tells the other that at the next opportunity to use the Yield, they will use it against them.

Teams travel to Australia and must ride a bicycle built for two in order to receive their next clue. However, what should have been a fun three-mile bike ride turns into a heated argument for one team. Meanwhile, on the drive to the airport, another team picks up a hitchhiker and takes some time to conduct international relations.[2]

  2. Joseph & Monica (5:54 pm)
  3. Ray & Yolanda (6:26 pm)
  4. Eric & Jeremy (6:47 pm)
  5. BJ & Tyler (8:21 pm)

Teams must fly to Perth, Australia. Upon arrival, teams must make their way to Kings Park War Memorial and Eternal Flame and search the grounds for their next clue.

Teams must make their way to Fremantle and take a ferry to Rottnest Island. Once there, teams must pick up a tandem bike and ride themselves to Wadjemup Lighthouse to find their next clue.

Choice A: Sand
Teams must bike their way to Salmon Bay and drag 40 branches 126 yards to a marked sand dune, an activity known as "brushing the beach," which helps prevent erosion. Once the pile is completed, teams would receive their next clue.

BJ & Tyler, Fran & Barry, and Ray & Yolanda chose this task.

Choice B: Sea
Teams must bike their way to Salmon Bay and dive into the waves and search among 50 underwater crayfish traps in an ocean floor for those with live Western rock lobsters. Each team member would have to retrieve one rock lobster. Once the lobsters are given to a fisherman and would hand them their next clue.

Eric & Jeremy and Joseph & Monica chose this task.

Teams must take a ferry back to Fremantle. Once in Fremantle, teams must find their next clue on the grounds of Fremantle Prison.

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock would have to search a block of Fremantle Prison for several cells within Division 4 than contain Duracell CopperTop batteries and a flashlight. Then using the flashlight must search an entrance for a darkened cavern, where they have to descend underground to wet or dry tunnels to find their next clue.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must make their way to South Breakwater at the Fremantle Sailing Club to check in.

For coming in first, Eric & Jeremy won an all-expense paid trip to Hong Kong sponsored by Travelocity.
