Chill Out, Freak is the fifth episode of The Amazing Race 21.

The order of departure from Shyambazar Chan Mia Ghat are as follows:

Teams must make their way on foot to a marked taxi stand at Sadarghat, then take a taxi to Jatrabari Boro Bazaar. Once there, teams must find the bēguna (the Bengali word for eggplant) vendor, who would give teams their next clue.

Teams must make their way to Ferry Ghat Road and search under the bridge to find their next clue.

"It ain't heavy, it's a Roadblock."

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must construct a balance scale from the provided bamboo, lashing ropes, and other equipment. Once the construction of their scale has been approved, they must then weigh out the proper amount of wood to balance with four large stones. Once the weights of stones and logs are even, they would receive their next clue.

Choice A: Straw Dogs
Teams must make their way to Latif Bawani Jute Mill, where they must push a load of unprocessed jute straw to a sorting facility, then prepare 20 coils of jute straw by heckling to straighten and separate the fibers. Once their 20 bundles were approved, they must deliver a bundle of completed straw to the mill, then proceed to the looms at the end of the production line to receive their next clue in the form of a jute mat with a painting on it.

Only Abbie & Ryan chose this task.

Choice B: Bamboo Jungle
Teams must make their way to Tarabo Bazar and Shabnam Oil Mill, where they must collect 40 bamboo poles of different length and diameter from a storage area. They must then use a platformed freight bicycle to transport the bamboo to a construction site. Once they have delivered all 40 poles of bamboo, they would receive their next clue in the form of a small length of bamboo with a painting on it.

James & Abba, Jaymes & James, Josh & Brent, Natalie & Nadiya, Rob & Kelley, and Trey & Lexi chose this task.

Teams must make their way to the location depicted on either their jute mat or their bamboo, Lok Shilpa Jadughar, to check in.

For coming in first place, James & Abba won a trip for two to Langkawi, Malaysia, provided by Travelocity.

For coming in last place, Josh & Brent will have to perform a Speed Bump at some point during the next leg of the race.
