Brian and Cynthia are a small town husband and wife duo who loves nothing more than coming home to their dogs, a beer, and each other's conversation. Brian and Cynthia first met while serving for the Canadian Armed Forces more than 20 years ago. They quickly became best friends, fell in love, and have now been married for 16 years.

Although they do not work together, Brian and Cynthia are both police officers in Winnipeg. This has taught them to be extremely strategic and perceptive which they will leverage to their benefit during the race. Brian and Cynthia are both loyal and compassionate individuals which balance their tough exteriors as police officers. These two know how to make the best from life's challenges.

Brian and Cynthia are best friends and each other's #1 fan. They love all activities involving the outdoors – especially canoeing and hiking. They also enjoy cooking delicious meals together and travelling.

As for their number one roadblock as a team? "Uncontrollable circumstances – there may be instances where the situation is beyond our control and left up to fate," says Cynthia.

Brian and Cynthia are optimistic and committed to persevere through any obstacles to win "The Amazing Race Canada." With mentally and physically trying jobs, the winnings would let them take some time for their relationship. "We would love to visit our dream destination, Fiji, should we win the race," says Brian. They would use the rest of the prize money to pay bills and help their family.
